Poly Shield
The DARF Poly-Shield™ is the latest innovation from Nikkel Iron Works. Made of rugged poly material, it is designed to withstand the rigors of severe weather and harsh raking conditions. The six section reinforced design easily assembles and mounts to any DARF rake wheel. The overlapping configuration of each piece allows the Poly-Shield™ to securely fit up flat & flush with the rake wheel, leaving no room for hay to get in between the wheel and shield. The front side is smooth and the back side is ribbed for reinforcement & strength. Special additives have been added to the poly to help reduce static discharge that is common with plastic. Patented

The DARF Poly-Shield™ is available on all DARF Rakes. It is also available as a replacement part item for all DARF & Morrill rakes as well as most older Farm-hand rakes.

Each tempered steel spike goes through a multi-step process to ensure proper adhesion of rubber to metal. This allows the rubber to firmly bond and keeps the spike from pulling out. Every DARF tooth made is hand inspected and is produced to exacting quality control standards. All DARF teeth are backed bt an 18 month warranty.
